Celebrate the start of the holiday season at Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 27, 2026, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Gather at the top of Main Street near Pacific National Bank at dusk as the community counts down to the moment thousands of sparkling lights illuminate the tree. Festive music and holiday cheer will fill downtown as residents and visitors come together for one of Nantucket’s most beloved traditions.
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy performances from talented local groups, festive giveaways from the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce, and meaningful moments that celebrate our island community. Bring your family and friends and join us for a joyful evening on the cobblestones as we welcome the holiday season together.
