Beauty Lou & the Country Beast

Nantucket Dreamland presents Beauty Lou and the Country Beast, a high-energy musical brought to life by local students in partnership with Missoula Children’s Theatre.

This lively, country-western twist on a classic tale is rehearsed and performed in just one week, as Nantucket youth work alongside professional touring actor-directors to create a full-scale production. Filled with humor, toe-tapping songs, and an enthusiastic ensemble cast, the show is a joyful celebration of community creativity and live performance.

Missoula Children’s Theatre, the nation’s largest touring children’s theatre organization, has been bringing professional productions to communities across the country for more than 50 years. Their unique residency model blends arts education with the excitement of a fully staged musical.
