The Shepherd and the Bear is a striking new documentary set high in the French Pyrenees, where the reintroduction of wild bears into a traditional shepherding community ignites deep conflict.
An aging shepherd struggles to find a successor as bears prey on his flock. A teenage boy becomes obsessed with tracking the bear. And an entire way of life hangs in the balance.
