Threads of Legacy: Nantucket Narratives
Bee Blunt, the heritage-driven fashion brand known for honoring Black style and storytelling through classic American design, and the Museum of African American History I Boston & Nantucket (MAAH), which operates historic sites in Boston and Nantucket, today announced the launch of a creative partnership. The collaboration will showcase “Threads of Legacy: Nantucket Narratives”, a special pop-up experience and capsule collection on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Seneca Boston–Florence Higginbotham House, one of two historic properties on MAAH’s Nantucket campus. This event marks the launch of an ongoing creative partnership between Bee Blunt and MAAH that will blend historic preservation with contemporary fashion. The debut “Threads of Legacy,” an exclusive capsule collection designed by Bee Blunt for MAAH, draws inspiration from the stories, voices, and archival material preserved by the museum. The July 19th event will include a VIP Preview Reception from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM, followed by the official opening of the shop where guests will have the opportunity to purchase limited-edition pieces, meet the designer, and learn about the stories behind the collection.
