VIP Réveillon Dinner: Holidays New Orleans Style

As part of Mister Gregory’s educational programming at the Nantucket Culinary Center, The Corner Table will host an exclusive 8-Course VIP Réveillon Dinner Show— an intimate, one-night-only culinary celebration blending the warmth of a traditional New Orleans holiday feast with the refinement of southern excellence.
Inspired by the classic French réveillon tradition, this eight-course menu will honor the soulful flavors, stories and seasonal ingredients of the Gulf South. Each dish will reflect Mister Gregory’s passion for preserving regional foodways and his signature storytelling style — where every bite tells a tale of heritage, community and celebration.
Award-winning Chef Gregory Gajus, affectionately known as Mister Gregory, presents a sumptuous tasting menu inspired by the soulful flavors and holiday customs of the French Quarter. Each course celebrates the rich biodiversity of the Gulf Coast and the timeless rituals of Creole cooking, brought to life through storytelling, live jazz from The Delta Revues and carefully selected wine pairings.
The evening opens with Rare Minced Beef Daube Glace and Smoked Gulf Oysters served with pain grillé and muffuletta vinaigrette — a nod to New Orleans’ iconic markets. Guests will savor delicate Black Drum Cuit à la Vapeur with meunière butter and mustard greens, and a luxurious Blue Crab Gratin with tarragon maque choux, each paired with crisp Chablis. Heartier moments arrive with a playful “Flotant Hand Pie” of duck confit and alligator sausage followed by Turkey Gumbo and Salade de Crevettes et Pommes de Terre, both paired with Beaujolais.
To close the evening, southern sweetness takes center stage with Pecan Pralines, Chicory Café au Lait, and a whisper of bourbon, before an elegant Evangeline Tarte à la Bouillie and Champagne Toast welcome the spirit of the season. A final touch of Fruits Glacés and Ojen digestif completes this journey of flavor, history, and revelry.
