Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce: 3rd Fall Fashion Show Model Sign-up
Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce is please to announce our third Fall Fashion Show, in conjunction with our 7th Cobblestones & Catwalks weekend, Friday, October 10th, 6pm - 7:30pm at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort, 77 Easton Street!
It will be a night to remember showcasing the latest fall fashions on the island. There will be music, cash bar, light bites, live vote for "Best Fall Fashion."
We're looking for a diverse set of models to represent the individual retailers participating. Whether you're an amateur or professional, tall or short, we want you! This is a great volunteer opportunity for those looking for a fun way to engage with the community or NHS students looking for volunteer hours. Expectations for models are listed below:
- Models will be contacted by participating retailers for pre-fittings, etc. Please make yourself available.
- Models are asked to commit to a 1 hour rehearsal October 9th at 4pm.*
- Models are asked to arrive at The Nantucket Hotel & Resort by 4:30pm* on October 10th to prepare for the show, showtime is 6pm - 7:00pm. Arrive in comfortable clothing and bring an extra outfit if you wish to stay and mingle after.
- Nantucket Chamber will provide light refreshments for participating models.
- Models will line up in alphabetical order by business and walk based on the timings discussed in rehearsal. Once all retailers have presented their Fall fashions, models will do a final walk as a collective group.
- Models are asked to carefully handle retailer garments when in use, be mindful of make-up, sweat, etc.
- Models are encouraged to stay and network after the show!
