Together\, we'll dive beyond the stage to explore how different cultures\, communities\, and ecosystems understand what it means to say goodbye and how new life always follows.\n\n\n\nWe will explore the vibrant traditions of D a de los Muertos in Mexico\, creating ofrendas and colorful art to honor those who came before.\n\n\n\nExplore Nantucket's cemeteries\, uncovering the meaning behind headstones\, the lives they commemorate\, and the significance of unmarked spaces in our island's history.\n\n\n\nDig into garden composting\, learn how decay feeds life\, and discover the science of transformation through hands-on ecological experiments.\n\n\n\nThrough art\, storytelling\, science\, and stagecraft\, campers will connect the dots between what we see in the musical and how we talk about death in the real world with curiosity\, respect\, and a little theatrical flair.\n\n\n\nWhether you're into ghosts\, gardens\, or just the strange and unusual\, this program offers a meaningful\, magical\, and unforgettable experience.\n\n\n\nOur journey will culminate in a public poster presentation in the Dreamland's Harbor View Room\, where campers will share their creative and intellectual discoveries with the community.
