DESCRIPTION:Join Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce for an Education Workshop\, Ten Practical Tips for Being Happy at Work with Denice Kronau\, Tuesday\, December 12th\, 5:30pm - 7:00pm\, Nantucket Dreamland\, Harborview Room\, 17 S. Water Street.\n\n\n\nWe all have to work and it's not called "fun" for a reason\, but what if we could rediscover what excited us about working when we first started? What if\, by asking ourselves a few simple questions\, we could reconnect with what made us happy at work in the first place? This workshop will give participants simple tools and takeaways to (hopefully) enrich their work life. \n\n\nParticipants will join a conversation with Denice Kronau\, a former CEO and CFO\, and Peter Burke\, executive director of Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce about the things they've learned about being happy at work. Denice will share many lessons from her thirty-year career and each participant will get a copy of her book: "Falling in Love with Work\, A Practical Guide to Igniting Your Passion for Your Career."\n\n\n\nThis event is FREE but registration is required!\n\n\n\nPresenter Biography\n\n\n\nDenice Kronau\n\n\nA former CEO and CFO\, during her career Denice has lived in four countries and worked in over eighty. She's worked for large\, multi-national companies with brands such as: Smirnoff. Marlboro\, Philadelphia Cream Cheese and For Siemens\, who is in energy\, transportation and healthcare.
