DESCRIPTION:Please join us in person at the MMA Research Center\, 2 Vestal Street or online via Zoom for a very special presentation of this summer's research from MMA's 2026 Astronomy interns. The MMA's Astronomy interns will present their fascinating research to the public. The Maria Mitchell Association is home to one of the longest-standing undergraduate astronomy research programs in the country. Nationally known\, this program brings six undergraduate students to the MMA each summer to work with our astronomy director and a group of research astrophysicists from around the world. Our talented research interns are selected out of a pool of hundreds of undergraduate physics and astronomy students from across the United States.\nJoin the MMA Astronomy Interns in person at the MMA Research Center at 2 Vestal Street or on Zoom for this Science Speaker Series Talk.
