DESCRIPTION:The Sandwich Glass Museum is proud to host artists Robert Dane and Carl Lopes this summer and fall for  this season's Contemporary Exhibit. Heartbeats & Harmony is a collaborative show between MA based glass artist Bob Dane and Cape Cod painter Carl Lopes. The Gallery at Four India Street is a carry over exhibition to Nantucket for the dates of July 2 - 16th\, for those unable to see their exhibition in Sandwich\, MA.\n\nBased on their mutual love of Afro Caribbean drumming and Jazz\, this program will feature glass sculpture and imagery reflecting inspiration from Afrocentric cultures. Those who know Robert Dane's passion for drumming will be delighted to enjoy this interesting combination of art glass by Dane and paintings by Lopes.\n\nThis exhibition offers a unique opportunity to bring together diverse populations through multicultural events that aim to educate and explore the joy of community\, through a variety of different artistic expressions. We look forward to your visit to The Gallery at Four India Street. Open daily 10-6pm and Sunday noon - 4 pm.
