A Starry Night

The Homestead of Nantucket invites the community to join us for A Starry Night, our annual spring fundraiser, on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM at the Nantucket Yacht Club.

 

Guests will enjoy an evening of live music and dancing, dinner, cash bar, silent and live auctions, all while supporting one of Nantucket’s longest-standing organizations dedicated to older adults.

 

Housed in a historic building dating back to 1876, The Homestead has long been a cornerstone of support for older adults on Nantucket. Founded to provide affordable housing and community for older island residents, The Homestead offers not only housing, but meals, connection, and support that allow residents to age with dignity while remaining part of the island community.

 

As The Homestead approaches 100 years of serving Nantucket in 2030, community support remains critical to preserving both the organization’s mission and the historic property that makes it possible.

 

Funds raised through A Starry Night directly support The Homestead’s mission of providing affordable housing and community for older adults while maintaining and preserving our historic building and services for current and future residents.
