"Beethoven: The Revolutionary" Cape Symphony Concert
“Beethoven: The Revolutionary” will be performed Sunday, April 6 at 3:00 PM at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center, 744 West Main Street, Hyannis. The orchestra will be conducted by Dina Gilbert, a candidate to become Cape Symphony’s next Music Director. This season’s Masterpiece performances will each be led by a candidate for the Music Director position at Cape Symphony. The repertoire features warhorses from the Western canon chosen to showcase the talent and skill of these fine conductors. The program for “Beethoven: The Revolutionary” includes the great Leonore Overture No. 3, Violin Concerto featuring guest violinist Alexi Kenney, and a culminating performance of the epic Symphony No. 5.
