Essex Bike Tour

Join the Nantucket Historical Association for a special Halloween version of our Historic Bike Tour. 

Strap on your helmet to explore locations related to the story of the ill-fated whaleship Essex.  Our guides will lead visitors through the harrowing events of the voyage, tracing the story through tangible locations including residences, graves, and more. 

The tour is approximately 2 hours long, beginning and ending at the NHA’s Whaling Museum.   

Tour includes mobile audio systems to easily hear the guide throughout the tour.? This tour will run rain or shine, as long as the weather is not deemed dangerous to patrons.
