Folger’s Marsh Kayak Tour with Nantucket Conservation Foundation

Embark on a unique eco-tour of the beautiful Folger’s Marsh with the Nantucket Conservation Foundation, guided by expert scientists and educators who will lead you through this vibrant salt marsh by kayak. Along the way, you’ll learn about the diverse plants and wildlife that thrive here and the marsh’s vital role in protecting Nantucket’s coastlines. This free program, held in partnership with the Egan Maritime Institute, includes kayaks and safety gear for all participants. The tour takes place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 9:00am to 11:00am, departing from the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum (158 Polpis Road). Space is limited to 10 participants and fills quickly; registration is required. Tour times may vary depending on tides and weather conditions.
