Golden Age Films: Grapes of Wrath

Join the Dreamland for a Golden Age Film screening of The Grapes of Wrath, one of the most influential American films of the twentieth century. This classic adaptation of John Steinbeck’s novel follows Tom Joad as he returns home after a jail sentence and discovers his family has been forced off their Oklahoma farm due to foreclosure. Together they begin a difficult journey to California, hoping for work and a new start during the Great Depression. Featuring Henry Fonda, Jane Darwell, John Carradine, Charley Grapewin and Dorris Bowdon.
