Housing Nantucket's 2024 Benefit Concert featuring Maggie Rose

Join us on Thursday, September 5th for an evening of live music, as we welcome American Rock and Soul singer and songwriter Maggie Rose back to the Chicken Box. All proceeds from the concert will benefit Housing Nantucket and our nonprofit’s mission of creating equitable housing solutions for year-round residents.

Maggie Rose’s critically acclaimed new album, the stellar No One Gets Out Alive, was released in April 2024. Rolling Stone calls Maggie a powerhouse vocalist who “cements her reinvention as one of the most successful in Nashville history.” People Magazine named Maggie one of their “Talented 2024 Spring Emerging Artists“.

Her album Have a Seat was critically acclaimed by both Rolling Stone and American Songwriter as one of the “Best Albums of 2021“. Maggie has been hailed by Rolling Stone as a “Must-See Americana Star“.

We are hosting this concert to bring attention to our non-profit’s mission, programs and services. In recent years, the dramatically declining number of year-round housing options for Nantucket’s workforce has been exacerbated. The island’s severe housing shortage threatens the character and stability of the island. Our programs have not only an immediate impact on the year-round community, but also preserve affordable housing solutions forever.
