Interview Skills 101-Guaranteed to Boost Your Social Media Cred
In this six-week class, experienced journalist Lindsay Pykosz and communication professor Sheryll Reichwein team up with the professional staff of Nantucket Community Television (NCTV) to provide you with interview training - to help you gain the performance confidence and competence you need to achieve your professional goals.
Weeks 1, 2 and 3 will be classroom-based at 56 Centre Street where you will learn the basics of interview structure, what you need to do to prepare, the best types of lead questions to ask, how to handle follow up questions, and how to manage the unexpected. Weeks 4, 5 & 6 will be held at the Nantucket Community Television studio where you will have the opportunity to conduct a live on-camera interview with classmates in a friendly, safe environment. You will be able to see instant replays, receive feedback, and redo the interview for improvement. As a bonus, Nantucket Community Television will provide you with your taped session - at no additional cost.
