Join us for an unforgettable Juneteenth Celebration honoring freedom, resilience, and joy within Nantucket’s Black community, Thursday, June 19th, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the African Meeting House, 29 York Street.
This high-energy, family-friendly event will feature live performances, delicious refreshments by Nantucket Island Creations, and activities for kids and families to enjoy throughout the day.
We’re proud to showcase local Black-owned vendors, highlighting the creativity and entrepreneurship that continues to shape our island community.
Don’t miss the special screening of Nantucket Historic Coloured Cemetery: Stories Told by Nantucketers — a powerful film honoring the legacies of those who came before us and the stories that continue to inspire generations.
