Mini Mariners at the Museum: Celebrating National Lighthouse Day
In honor of National Lighthouse Day, Egan Maritime Institute is honoring Nantucket's iconic beacons of light. This special Mini Mariners session invites children and their caretakers to explore maritime history through hands-on, age-appropriate activities. Each session features a nautical theme to highlight the maritime history.
Join us on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 9:00-9:45 am at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum, at 158 Polpis Rd. This free program is designed for children ages seven and under, though all ages are welcome.
