Nantucket Dreamland presents Storytime with a Princess

Step into a world of magic, mischief, and imagination at The Dreamland’s most enchanting event of the season!

Storytime with a Princess invites young princes, princesses, and royal subjects to help the Princess retell her favorite stories — but with a twist. Together, the audience will turn classic tales upside down and inside out with hilarious and unexpected ideas from the crowd.

Upon entering the kingdom, every child will craft and decorate their very own custom crown to wear during the performance. Royal dress-up is highly encouraged!

Guests may choose between two royal experiences. The Royal Court audience ticket invites families to watch the magical, unpredictable show unfold from their seats while helping the Princess shape the story from the crowd. The Royal Treatment is an on-stage experience for aspiring actors ages 4–10, giving young performers the opportunity to go backstage, dress up in theatrical costumes, and work directly with the Princess and her royal cast to learn their role on stage.

Upcoming performances take place Saturday, July 11; Saturday, July 18; Saturday, July 25; Saturday, August 1; Sunday, August 9; and Saturday, August 15.

Royal Treatment begins at 10:00 AM. Royal Court doors open at 11:00 AM for crown crafting. The show runs from 11:25 AM to 12:15 PM in the Main Theater.

All funds raised from this magical event directly support continued Arts in Education programming at The Dreamland, helping keep creativity and the arts alive for children throughout the community.
