Nature Walks at The Creeks

Join Dr. Sarah Bois, Director of Research and Education, for a guided tour of the beach and saltmarsh of the Creeks with a special focus on documenting the biodiversity of this special habitat. We’ll explore beach and saltmarsh habitats, and enjoy views of Nantucket Harbor as we document all the species we come across. We’ll see what’s blooming, budding, flying, and crawling around the sand and mudflats. We’ll also cover the history of the area including the old Nantucket railroad and the land use changes of the marsh system.
