Libby Buck (LLNF) will dive into the first year of Nantucket Osprey Watch and what we are learning about osprey nesting across the island. We will explore how community observations turn into real data, share results from the first season, and discuss why long-term monitoring matters for understanding these remarkable birds.

You will also learn how to volunteer and become part of the Nantucket Osprey Watch, from spotting nests to submitting observations, and just how easy it is to contribute meaningful information right here on Nantucket. No prior experience required. Training and guidance are provided; bring curiosity and willingness to keep an eye on our ospreys.
