the 2026 10th Annual Dog Film Festival
Celebrate the bond between dogs and the people who love them at the 2026 10th Annual Dog Film Festival, featuring an opening reception before the screening. A portion of ticket sales will benefit NISHA, Nantucket’s animal rescue nonprofit.
Join us for a cash bar and light snacks during the opening reception in the Harborview Room from 4:00–5:00 PM, followed by the film program beginning at 5:00 PM in the Main Theater.
This year’s festival showcases 15 short films selected from 64 submissions representing the United States and 14 countries worldwide. Together, these films celebrate a decade of storytelling centered on the powerful relationships between people and dogs — joyful, moving, and unforgettable.
The program also includes two award-winning films from the Purina Dog Chow Service Dog Salute, highlighting the life-saving bond between specially trained service dogs and veterans living with PTSD.
