Annual Membership Celebration Nomination Form

Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 2026 Annual Membership Celebration! This year's festivities are taking place Tuesday, September 22nd at Millie's Nantucket, 326 Madaket Road.

The Annual Membership Celebration is an opportunity for the Nantucket Chamber to celebrate all of the accomplishments, contributions and support of our members in the past year. Join us in nominating those in business who've made a difference.

Multiple nominations will not increase a business or person's chances of winning. Businesses are welcome to nominate themselves!

Award Categories are as follows:

- Volunteer of the Year
- Tourism Advocate of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Legacy Business of the Year
- Achievement of Merit

Please submit your nominations by August 14th. Voting will commence August 17th - 31st. Winners will be announced two weeks before the celebration.
Volunteer of the Year Nomination - This award recognizes a person or business who has shown initiative and leadership in their efforts to better the community, exemplified dependability and enthusiasm to make a difference and has significant depth of involvement in their volunteer endeavors.
Tourism Advocate of the Year Nomination - This award recognizes a person or business that has been active in some aspect of promoting travel and tourism which may include, but is not limited to: participation in Special Events planning and production, particularly Nantucket Noel and Daffodil Festival and/or participation in marketing the island as a top travel destination.
Small Business of the Year Nomination - This award recognizes a business who has shown growth, innovation and a commitment to providing exemplary customer service to the island. This business has demonstrated one or all of the following aspects; response to adversity, sustainability, provide contributions to the community in a positive way.
Legacy Business of the Year Nomination - This award recognizes a business and/or organization who has been a Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce Member for over 10 years. This business and/or organization has shown sustained growth, commitment to the betterment of the community and has demonstrated that they are a valued cultural asset to the island.
Achievement of Merit Nomination - This award recognizes a person or business whose shown outstanding and consistent commitment to responsible business practices and/or community service and highlights those dedicated to community prosperity.
