Senior Director of Development
Nantucket Dreamland • Hybrid (On-Island & Remote) • $110K+ DOE
The Nantucket Dreamland—the island’s largest film, performing arts and cultural organization—seeks an experienced, relationship-driven leader to spearhead our fundraising and development efforts.
We’re a nonprofit arts hub producing 120+ live events, 30 theater productions, 800+ films, and education programs for 500+ youth each year. With a growing $3.6M budget and an engaged community of supporters, this is an exciting time to join our team.
In this new senior leadership role, you will:

Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy across major gifts, grants, corporate, foundation, and individual giving.

Cultivate and steward donors, including a personal portfolio of major gift prospects.

Oversee Dreamland’s signature DreamBIG fundraiser.

Lead strategic marketing/communications to strengthen brand visibility and donor engagement.

Partner with the Executive Director and Board to exceed annual fundraising goals.
What we’re looking for:

8–10 years of proven fundraising success, ideally in a nonprofit or cultural setting.

Exceptional communication, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills.

Experience leading teams and growing revenue streams.

Familiarity with donor management systems (Bloomerang a plus).
