Catboat Charters offers private sailing charters for groups of up to six aboard a spacious wooden catboat. Sail aboard a restored antique wooden catboat built in 1927. Catboats have sailed these waters since the mid 1800s. They originated as work boats in the waters of Nantucket, Cape Cod, and Martha's Vineyard. They were most commonly used for fishing, hauling cargo, and ferrying passengers. Today, catboats are the ideal craft for sailing along scenic waterfronts with family and friends.
