About Us
Health Imperatives is a non-profit, community-based agency that provides high-quality, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive services that promote health, safety, and economic security. Annually, Health Imperatives serves more than 20,000 people in Massachusetts, specifically: Greater Brockton, the South Shore, the South Coast, Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard. We reach and engage disadvantaged populations to address urgent local needs, reduce health disparities, and advance health equity by working in partnership with families and individuals to help them become healthy, safe, strong, and empowered.
Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of low-income or vulnerable families and individuals in Southeastern Massachusetts.
