Artists Association of Nantucket Hosts Robust ONLINE Exhibition “Holiday Works Online”

As the cooler months of the off season truly set in, and folks begin to spend more time indoors, the Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is pleased to announce the opening of its last 2022 Online exhibition, Holiday Works Online, featuring new works by our artist members. The exhibition goes live on Weds., November 9 with art available 24/7 through Friday, Dec. 30. You may view the eclectic work on: nantucketarts.org/art

This curated online exhibition will feature one-of-a-kind works of art, along with some jewelry and ceramics. The online shows do not exhibit the same work that is shown in the AAN’s Cecelia Joyce & Seward Johnson Gallery at 19 Washington St., or the Big Gallery at 12 Straight Wharf.

“Just as we do in the gallery, when artworks sell online, the artist has the chance to add another piece, so there will be additional works added throughout the online exhibition,” said AAN artistic director Robert Frazier. “This gives the public ample opportunity to find the ideal piece for the upcoming holiday season, their business or home,” added Frazier.

“By offering these online exhibitions in tandem with our classic in-person gallery shows, we are able to provide our artist members with an additional venue in which to showcase their art, while the consumers have the convenience of viewing the art from the comfort of their own homes,” said AAN gallery director Peter J. Greenhalgh.

The Holiday Works Online exhibition will be available 24/7 from November 9 – December 30, and may be found online: nantucketarts.org/art
