Oceanus Health Announces Location for New Orthopedic Practice on Nantucket

NANTUCKET, MA – November 4, 2025 – Oceanus Health has announced the official opening of its new facility at 1 Cherry Street will be before the end of the year. Virtual appointments will be available beginning November 21, 2025.

Founded by Dr. Rocco Monto, a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, and operating partner, Betsey Brooks, Oceanus Health will offer advanced orthopedic and regenerative medicine services designed to keep patients moving, healing, and living well, without leaving the island.

“Our goal is to make high-quality orthopedic and regenerative care accessible right here on Nantucket,” said Dr. Monto. “We’re building a space where patients feel empowered, informed, and supported at every stage of their recovery.”

Dr. Rocco Monto is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with over 20 years serving the Nantucket community. Renowned for his pioneering work in regenerative medicine, he has treated professional athletes and everyday patients alike.
