52nd Nantucket Christmas Stroll

The most magical weekend of the holiday season is almost here! Nantucket’s cobblestone streets will soon sparkle beneath thousands of twinkling lights, storefronts will be dressed in their festive finest, and the unmistakable spirit of the season will fill the island as we welcome the 52nd Nantucket Christmas Stroll, December 4–6, 2026.

Proudly organized by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce, Nantucket Christmas Stroll is a treasured part of Nantucket Noel, our island-wide celebration of holiday traditions, festive gatherings, and community cheer. For more than five decades, this beloved weekend has welcomed visitors and islanders alike to experience the warmth, wonder, and timeless charm of Christmas on Nantucket.

The festivities begin with one of Stroll’s most anticipated traditions, Santa Claus arriving aboard a Coast Guard vessel before making his grand entrance up Main Street in a bright red fire truck, accompanied by the Town Crier. Throughout the weekend, downtown comes alive with Victorian-costumed carolers, magical talking Christmas trees, student choirs, musicians, and festive performers spreading holiday cheer around every corner.

The NIR/Stop & Shop lot will once again become the Stroll Marketplace, a charming European-style holiday market showcasing local merchants, artisans, nonprofit organizations, and more. Across the island, Nantucket Chamber member businesses will join the celebration with seasonal events, special sales, memorable dining experiences, and festive happenings for all ages.
