Film for Thought: Power to the People
Nantucket Dreamland presents Power To The People: John & Yoko Live in NYC, the newly restored 2026 multiscreen concert film of two sold-out One To One shows performed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono at Madison Square Garden on August 30, 1972. These were the only full-length concerts John Lennon performed after leaving The Beatles, drawing a combined audience of 40,000 and raising over $1.5 million for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Re-edited and remixed by a seven-times GRAMMY Award-winning team and produced by Sean Ono Lennon, the film features John & Yoko/Plastic Ono Band with Elephant's Memory and an extraordinary lineup of special guests including Stevie Wonder and Melanie. The setlist spans some of the most iconic songs in rock history, including "Imagine," "Instant Karma!," "Come Together," "Hound Dog," and a closing encore of "Give Peace a Chance."
Screening on Wednesday, April 29 at 7 PM. Members FREE | $20 General Admission ($17 ticket + $3 service fee). Get your tickets at nantucketdreamland.org.
